With all the busyness in our daily lives we need energy from a trusted source. For years, I took B vitamins but not knowing there are many bargain brands that actually do more harm than good. I also wasn’t really sure why I was taking a B vitamin other than for energy but since have learned many great benefits of a trusted brand for my B Vitamins.
There are 8 B vitamins. All B vitamins help the body convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which is used to produce energy. These B vitamins, often referred to as B-complex vitamins, also help the body use fats and protein. B-complex vitamins are needed for a healthy liver, and healthy skin, hair, and eyes. They also help the nervous system function properly. All the B vitamins are water-soluble, meaning the body does not store them.
Young Living Super B is a comprehensive vitamin complex containing all eight essential, energy-boosting B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, and B12). Recently reformulated, it now Features Orgen-FA®*, a natural folate source derived from lemon peels (this is so important to know), and methylcobalamin, a more bioavailable source of B12. Most bargain store brands for B-12 source contain Cyanocobalamin which is a synthetic form of vitamin B12 that is not found in nature.
Combined with Nutmeg essential oil and bioavailable chelated minerals such as magnesium, manganese, selenium, and zinc, Super B not only assists in maintaining healthy energy levels, but it also supports mood and cardiovascular and cognitive function.*
B vitamins are essential to our health and well-being, and each B vitamin performs a unique and separate function in the body. Unfortunately, they must be replenished daily, as they are not stored in the body.
When many B vitamins are combined at once in the stomach, it can cause fermentation, resulting in stomach upset. This is what I like about YL B vitamins they use a special formulation process to isolate the various vitamins so that they are released at different times.
