Aloe & Calendula Moisturizer

Enjoy the anti-inflammatory properties of calendula oil, honey and chamomile, with soothing and cooling aloe vera gel.

Great for senstive skin, sunburns, dry, or irritated skin.  This is a very simple recipe to make for yourself and gifts!



1/2 tablespoon raw honey

1/2 tablespoon Aloe Vera Gel

3 tablespoon calendula oil

10 drops of Roman Chamomile essential oil


Mix all ingredients into a glass jar until smooth.  Store in refrigerator.  Enjoy


Jut some Tidbits about CALENDULA CARRIER OIL

Calendula oil contains lipophilic extracts and hydrophilic extracts.  Several of the active chemical constituents found in the herb are fungicidal – especially the resins as well as these compounds are also bactericidal and anti-viral agents.

Calendula is richer and thicker than most carrier oils.  It is usually blended with another carrier oil for massage.

Calendula is native of the Mediterranean region and the whole flower is used for medicinal purposes.
