Spring Clean the Body -10 Day Juice Feast

Below is a 10 Day Juice Feast from last summer .  I would like to challenge you to consider a Juice Feast for Spring.  This is a great time as the weather is warm and time to “Spring Clean the Body”.

If you have never completed a Juice Feast it is different from a Juice Fast.  In a  Juice Feast you consume about the same calories you have been while eating.  You do not want to starve the body and slow your metabolism so you will be consuming lots of good nutrition.

Just Pick your Day and START!

Start off with one day and each day you decide if you would like to continue.

Not everyone is ready for a 10 Day Juice Feast – So Listen to the body – maybe start with one day then work your way up to a three day then eventually a ten day.

Day 2

Today was really hard – just a touch of headache not bad but not full of energy – I wasn’t motivated to do anything but just get through the day – Kept reminding myself I can do this and will get through it – cleansing is not easy – I realize how much of a relationship I create with foods – taking that away is challenging!

Day 3

Today is so much better woke up feeling good!

Day 4

You probably noticed I don’t always put measurements especially for my greens.  The reason is I go by my taste or craving.  Some days I do more greens some days more fruit.  I usually taste my juice in the making and if it needs a little more sweetner I add more fruit if less I add more greens until I get the taste that “hits the spot.”

Day 9

Getting close and I’m getting excited for the end.  Last time I did a 10 day juice I didn’t want it to end.  Not sure what’s different I think maybe because I’ve been looking at a lot of recipes I want to try.  I’m getting excited about them.

Sad in a way this is coming to and end – love how juicing makes me feel lighter and more energy!

 

Tune into your body and listen to the signals – if you are detoxing too fast – maybe you are not ready for a 10 day.  Start out slow.
